Can’t Sleep? Try My Tips.
I’ve been talking to friends and family members who have been complaining of lack of sleep and I always ask them what they were doing prior to going to bed. The majority of those I ask usually have the same answer… “watching the news.” With all that’s going on in the news, it’s no wonder folks can’t sleep. If the news is keeping you awake, quit watching it. I turn off the TV and turn my devices an hour or two before I go to bed so I’m not dwelling on things beyond my control. It’s hard enough trying to fall asleep faster with chronic pain, I don’t need to add to the stress.
There are quite a few things I do that helps me fall asleep faster including the following:
1. Avoid naps
2. Take a soothing bath
4. Sip on hot apple cider
5. Spray lavender scented oil on pillowcases
6. Turn AC on 70 degrees
7. Turn on loud fan
8. Stay awake as long as you can before heading to bed
9. Unplug phone, devices, TV
10. Take sleep dietary supplement
All of these are pretty much self-explanatory but I’d like to mention Sweet Sleep by Body Software.
