This blog has partnered with Mom Buzz Media to announce this exciting information!

Kids Academy Releases Preschool Education Center
for iOS and Android!

We are a techno family and have been since the kids were old enough to learn to use the computer and tablets, etc. All of the kids have their own laptops, iPhones and Kindle Fire’s and and are very familiar with all of them. This year they all want iPads from Santa. I search for apps to keep them entertained while we are traveling and especially on rainy days. More often than not, I only download education apps for them. I don’t mind them playing but sneaking in educational apps makes me feel better about what they are doing with their time. Because math was my least favorite subject, I look for apps that include math so they don’t struggle with the same subjects as I did. I want the kids to be well rounded in each and every subject.

We are pretty much pro technology too, I mean that’s just the way things are now, so I figure why not embrace it but put limits on it. I make my kids do chores for media time, let them only play an hour at a time etc, and educational games are definitely a plus and if its educational, I usually let them play a little longer. ;)

This is awesome. My son is obsessed with being on his kindle fire and it concerns me that he is spending too much time on it. An app. that teaches him while simultaneously having fun sounds perfect!

I definitely have to tell my niece about this one. Her little 1 1/2 year old is already in a pre k type school (only 2 hours a day a couple of days a week) and she know how to work an ipad!
