Underneath Your Clothes

shabby chic boho

I spend a lot of time trying to look good on the outside. I like to buy cute clothes and I’m not even going to mention how many pairs of shoes I own. It’s ridiculous. I buy matching wallets for my handbags and even my lingerie has to match. BUT, I seldom think about what’s underneath my clothes until I’m faced with the challenge. What’s underneath your clothes?

If you said stretch marks and scars then you are not alone. It more than likely means you’ve had children or surgery, but, there are all sorts of other reasons we get stretch marks (such as over eating). What are you doing about your stretch marks and scars? If you said nothing, then you are probably alone my friend. There are many great product that help with all of those imperfections we get throughout our lifetime.

Body Merry Stretch Marks & Scars Defense Cream

I’ve tried several products for those imperfections underneath my clothes but I don’t recommend all of them I’ve tried. I do recommend Body Merry stretch marks & scars defense cream and I’ll tell you why. It works. I gave birth to my 3 wonderful children and I’ve had several surgeries in my stomach. I had back surgery during which they went through my stomach to reconstruct my spine. I’ve had other surgeries such as having my gall bladder removed. My stomach is anything but perfect and I don’t wear cute cropped tops any more. I also don’t wear bikini’s anymore. I am completely aware of what is underneath my clothes even if no one else is.

I decided that it was time to start working towards a bathing suit body now, during the cold winter months when organic cocoa butter & shea butter will help with my winter dryness as well as fight those dreaded stretch marks and scars. I challenge you to do the same and we’ll compare our results on the first warm day of 2015. Save the date and start now. It smells delightful and I can already tell a difference in my skin texture. Get back that body you know you could have. Shed those clothes and feel good about yourself again. I am.

Taking care of your skin is so important. I have to or I just feel dry all the time.

I love taking care of my skin and I think at the end of the day they are just so important. Before really going there though, I think I’d want to lose weight first lol!

My wife is always looking for a good skin cream that works. She doesn’t have stretch marks, but complains a lot about dry skin.

I can’t remember the last time I wore a 2pc. I need to lose some weight. I don’t worry about my stretch marks on my stomach too much because no one sees those. But, I have had some on my arms, even before the weight gain that make me very self conscious.

I didn’t know surgery caused stretch marks. That does make sense though. I have some on my stomach. I’m too old to care now. :)

It’s interesting that you mention the “smell.” One might not think that was important in the scheme of things, especially when a product works so well. But it is! I tried a skin-tightening product a while back, and although it worked very well, I couldn’t stand the way it smelled. As a result, I stopped using it.

I have never tried a stretch mark cream. My stretch marks have never bothered me until this year.
Now they are all I see when I get out of the shower.

I had 3 kids, one of which was a c-section, so I have both. After 20 years, I am not sure any product would help me now.

I think we all get stretch marks at some point or another! At some point we just need to embrace them and realize that form a part of who we are!

Stretch marks are a pain to get. Putting stretch mark cream on them is a smart thing to do. This looks like great cream.

This sounds great! I’ve been searching for a decent stretch mark cream for years. I’ve had 6 kids, and I got a little amount of stretch marks. They’ve dulled quite a bit but I see them, so I may look into this!

Oh boy! I might be in my boat alone then, because I haven’t done much to take care of my skin. I use moisturizer frequently but that is about it.

I’m hitting the gym 5 days a week to tone the muscles, eating well, drinking lots of water and my skin is still bone dry. I have to apply moisturizer to avoid looking scaly. I’ll be ready :)

I have stretch marks and quite a few imperfections, but I still rock my bikini. Once I am tan, most of that stuff gets covered up anyways with a little color :)
