3 Simple Steps to Making Kratom Tea at Home

Are you suffering from chronic pain or considering reaching for drugs during the lockdown due to mental exhaustion?

Don’t despair! Kratom, a relatively safe drug that is still legal despite attempts to ban it, is your friend here.

It’s best taken slowly rather than in tablet form so that it’s absorbed slowly. Kratom tea is one way to take kratom strains.

But what’s the best way to make it? Here’s everything you need to know about how to make kratom tea.

1. Use Hot Water

To get your perfect cup of kratom tea, the first thing you have to understand is that boiling water will do you no favors. In fact, boiling water will ruin the alkaloids in the plant.

Many people think that tea is best brewed with water at 212 degrees Fahrenheit. However, every tea is different. Only strong black teas are best brewed at above 176 degrees Fahrenheit.

Kratom is no exception. About 140 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit is a good temperature. Consider buying a smart kettle that enables you to choose the exact temperature.

A smart kettle also allows you to boil water using your smart home speaker or phone.

2. Add Lemon or Orange

Since the compounds in the tea are alkaloids, which taste bitter, you can improve your tea drinking experience by adding in citrus fruits like lemon and orange to your tea.

Pick some fresh lemons or oranges if you have some growing in your garden. If not, buy some.

Chop them into slices and place them in your tea after it’s brewed. Give them a few minutes to soak to let the tea absorb the flavor.

3. Try Brewing in the Sun

Another method of brewing tea is to leave the kratom tea outside in the sun. This might sound somewhat eccentric, but it can be the best way to get the result you want.

First, pour some cold water or water at room temperature over your tea. Then place it outside in the sun. Put a strainer over the top of a filter and let mother nature get to work.

This technique is only likely to work if you live in hotter parts of the world.

Kratom Tea: A Great Drink

Kratom tea is not only a great-tasting drink that can be sweetened with fruits or honey, but it’s also better for you than a kratom tablet or other forms of kratom, as it takes longer to absorb into your body.

If you live in a warm part of the world, you can try brewing it using the sun method. If you live in a colder part of the world, then you could use some hot water. That said, remember that boiling water may destroy many of the beneficial compounds.
