It’s time for another road trip before flying off to parts unknown. Actually, I’m flying off to a beautiful spa resort in Illinois for the weekend but parts unknown sounded better, lol. While I enjoy trips around the world, I enjoy seeing new sights in the beautiful state of Georgia as well. Keeping my oil changed is a must to keep my car going the distance. By keeping my oil changed regularly, it improves my gas mileage and protects my engine. “Old Faithful” is only 2 years old but I’ve put some serious miles on her (yes I named my car). Pretty soon I will reach 75,000 miles and then I’ll need to switch to Pennzoil® High Mileage Vehicle® Motor Oil. More about that in a minute.
Recently we were busy getting ready for our next road trip so I stopped at Walmart to get my oil changed. While I waited I did my shopping for the trip. I usually pack our lunch because we love picnics and because we usually go to state parks on our road trips, and most of them don’t have restaurants. We’re nature lovers to the core. Walmart has everything I need and it’s so convenient to have my oil changed while I shop. I drop off my car and before I get in the door they’re usually already moving it to change the oil. Fast and convenient to fit into my busy lifestyle.
I’ve been using Pennzoil Oil because it helps clean out sludge that lesser oils leave behind. It was recommended to me by Walmart’s Automotive Care Center, a couple of oil changes ago. Not only is it inexpensive to get my oil changed at Walmart, they’re always helpful in letting me know what my car needs and when it needs it. Let the experts make your life easier and save $4 when you get your oil changed with Pennzoil at Walmart’s Automotive Care Center. When you get your oil changed at Walmart and use Pennzoil® High Mileage Vehicle® or Pennzoil Platinum®: Full Synthetic Motor Oil with PurePlus™ Technology, your oil change will be $35.88 instead of the normal $39.88.
Now that you’ve saved some money, you can use that towards a photo book to preserve your road trip memories. I take so many photos when we go anywhere. Sometimes I get them printed out and sometimes I turn them into photo books. There are two ways to do that. One would be in a scrapbook and the other would be with a company who specializes in making photo books. I personally love scrapbooking but not everyone has time for it so I’m going to walk you through having a tablet photo book made.
The first thing you will need to do is to create an account at any company that offers photo books and click on photo books. After you do that, select which occasion you prefer. If I’ve been traveling, I select a travel style theme. Once you do that you will have to option of making a tablet book or hardback book. Select tablet. I’ve always got my Kindle with me and I like having my photo books with me on it. NOTE: You will need to be on your phone or tablet to make this book type.
Once you do that, you’ll be able to make your photo book in 3 easy steps. It’s crazy easy to do no matter which company you use. Most company’s cater to mobile users. Each company is a littl different but on most, you’ll be able upload up to 20 of your favorite photos. Like so…
Next, they will arrange your photos into a wonderful layout, like so…
Lastly, you can tap, drag and rearrange the photos more to your liking. Now wasn’t that easy?
There are many different places to have photo books made, so google your options to check them all out. It’s a great way to find savings on photo books too.
When you’re heading out for your next adventure, be sure to stop by Walmart ACC to take advantage of $4 off oil change, while you do your shopping.
