Every since I read that Jennifer Aniston gets a facial peel, I’ve been on a mission to find one that will work at home as well or almost as well as the type that she probably gets from her spa. Believe it or not, there are some GREAT facial peels to do at home. I’ve been using a face peel from Dr Song and I’m pretty happy with it and it’s performance. My new Dr Song 50% Lactic Acid Face Peel has been the topic of many conversations with friends and family members lately.
I apply the peel to my freshly cleaned face (neck and back of hands too) with a cotton ball. I’m targeting my entire face (not just the areas where fine lines have appeared) to diminish the signs of aging. I have those dreaded lines around my eyes, some age spots starting to darken and of course I’d love to get rid of my freckles but I think I’m stuck with those. I spent my teen years applying lemon juice to them as I once saw Jan Brady do on the Brady Bunch. Use your lemons for other things because this don’t work folks.
I have been looking forward to my weekly facial peel (5 so far) and I’m happy that I haven’t had a reaction of any type on my sensitive skin. Getting rid of my dead skin cells to regenerate new and youthful skin cells is exciting. I do wash my pillowcases and sheets more often than I was because I don’t want to lay in those dead skin cells, you know? I would recommend buying this peel if you want to target the signs of aging I’ve listed above and if you sincerely want to see signs of improvement.
P.S. this product can be used by men and women and is great for almost all skin types. Some people might experience discomfort or redness while using peels. Be sure to test a small area first.
