Easy to Style Boho Braid

Boho braids are so easy to do if you have a guide or idea of how to create them. With the popularity of Boho chic braids increasing, everyone should know how to style at least one Boho braid and I’ve included a video tutorial I found on YouTube for your first demonstration. There will be many more to come so be watching and if you haven’t already, sign up on my sidebar to receive email updates. Boho style has been popular since before I was even a thought. It. never. goes. out. of. style. The most beautiful weddings I’ve attended were Boho Chic themed. One thing you’ll want to note that for Boho braids, fresh washed hair won’t work as well as hair that was washed the day before. Sometimes I even use exotic Argan Oil Texture Hair Paste for a medium hold. It depends on your hair texture if you would need a hair paste or not.

Shabby chic Boho braids are meant to be “shabby” because you do not want a perfect look. Loose and carefree is what you’ll need to aim for with your Boho styles. It might take a little time and effort on your part to determine when to wash your hair and when not to and when to apply hair care products and when not to and of course which hair care products work best for your hair. I do want to mention that you do NOT have to have long hair to wear popular Boho Chic styles. I’ve pinned some short styles to my Boho braid board which I’m including below so you can follow it.

When I don’t feel like blow drying my hair, I love to put my hair in a braid. My husband loves braiding my hair :)

I do love the style of Boho braid, but I wish I can do it by myself lol. The last time I did it with my daughter was failed because her hair is not thick to be perfect for different braids.

I think it will be a few more years before we can braid the girl;s hair :) But I am really excited! After seeing this post of yours, I tried braiding her hair but it’s not possible with how thin her hair is! hahah

I dreamt of having a baby girl so I can style her hair like that. And I was blessed with a baby girl. But her hair is not that thick so we’re still waiting for the perfect time to braid her :)

My hair is on the shorter side and I would have never thought to attempt this look, as much as I love it. Thanks for the article and for including some examples with shorter hair, I’m not even kidding, as soon as my son goes for a nap I’m going to watch this tutorial and give it a shot! So glad I happened across this before I washed my hair today!

I’ve been searching braid tutorials nowadays because regular braids are starting to bore me. I like Boho braids because they’re finally different from the other hairstyles I’ve watched on Youtube or I’ve done on my hair. These braids are so pretty it looks like it’s made for a queen!

I do not know if boho braids would suit my afro hair but I do love how easy you have made it to recreate the look. I think for my type of hair normal braids or plats are what my hair needs but then again I could just try out your style and see how that works for me. Thanks for the video.

Gosh, only if I have all the time to actually do a braid on my hair – unfortunately I think they take quite a long time so I won’t be able to – but I like the idea of styling a boho braid. I think it’s wonderful and stylish, plus practical in one way or another too!

i love boho braids and boho chic weddings. i always find them really beautiful.. and i wanted to incorporate some details into my wedding.. but it would have never fit. and this was at first when i had a hodgepodge of all sorts of styles i wanted to fit together. haha maybe if we do a commitment ceremony i’ll have to pick one of the other themes i had to toss out. :)

I am personally a huge fan of braids. I was so sad when I cut off all my hair that my braids didn’t look as cute. Thanks for sharing the video, it gives me hope that I can braid my hair with short hair. I miss it.

My daughter is forever braiding her hair. She loves all kinds of braids. I need to show her these and see if she can teach me. She’s great at it and I’m not at all!

I think that is a really neat hair style and the fact that it’s relatively easy to do makes it even better.. It’s a great alternative to dreads, which I know are dirty and a lot more messy looking. I think it’s a great hair style for a night out or a concert or something along those lines.
