Follow My Life At My Handicap Apartment At Apartment 8A

Well, this is a long overdue post.  I’ve mentioned on here before about being on a waiting list for a 3 bedroom 2 bath handicap apartment and I’m here. Unfortunately for the last tenant, she had to leave under not so great circumstances.  She fell asleep while cooking and the kitchen caught on fire.  So then I had to wait until they had to redo everything in the apartment.  But I’m a patient soul and just knowing the apartment was going to work out so much better than the one I was in, gave me the strength to start packing (I don’t miss those extremely high cabinets that have caused me to tumble more than once).   Everything that was not working for me in my old apartment is working wonderfully in this one.

I moved in about the first week of October (last year) and I couldn’t wait to have my first trick-or-treaters knocking on my door, and for Thanksgiving, and Christmas to come around.   Because my family is scattered about, I started a blog for them to follow me on to keep up with how things are going.  I’ve been posting things such as D.I.Y. projects (I laid outdoor tiles for the first time in my life), sharing recipes that my family loves, and basically just going about my life living with chronic pain.  It may or may not be a blog you want to follow me on (it’s completely different from this one) but I’d love it if you’d hop on over and check it out.  If you want to follow me as I turn my handicap apartment into a space that’s more in sync with my disabilities, following failed back surgery, please sign up for my emails and sign my guestbook so I’ll know you were there.

Thank you for your time and I’ll see you there.  Just one more thing, I don’t update every single day but I try to update a few times a month. If you don’t have time to stop by now, I’ve added my blog link to my menu bar for easy access.  I’ll leave a light on.
