Getting Organized with Avery Labels and @Shoplet

I recently received some Avery easy align self-laminating ID labels from Shoplet to review and I’ve been printing cute labels to help make my life easier. You noticed I said cute right? With the fun templates, they have at Avery, I can get really creative with my labels. It took me a few tries to get them right but it helped that I had the free Avery design templates to work from because I’m not very creative when it comes to making templates myself.

I started with a blank sheet of paper for a test run and as you’ll see below, I added a photo and text to each of my labels. My eyesight is not what it used to be so I’m going to rely on the images when I’m not wearing my glasses. On one side of the labels is the white labels and on the other side is the clear self-laminating labels. I did print out some on both sides but I smeared my clear ones. I’m a goofball like that. I’ll let my printer sit between printing like I should have the next time I print the clear labels. You can also write on them with cute colored Sharpies. There’s that cute word again.

Pretty nifty way to get organized, huh? Click on the image for a larger view.

I’ve been working on getting organized this morning and I can’t wait to finish labeling everything. The Avery labels really are easy to use. I thought it was going to be more difficult to figure out how to use them so I put it off until I had a child free and labor-free day. You don’t have to do that. If you have 5 spare minutes, you can have the labels you need for your organizing needs. You could even put your kids photos on them to label their school supplies, chore charts and anything else you can think of to help make your life easier. Pet photos would be cute for treats, leashes, etc.
