Moms Love Amwell #MOMSLOVEAMWELL

This is a sponsored post with Momtrends and Amwell. All opinions are my own.

I’m a busy mimi. I work online, I have a family, I have to be at ball practice for Tyler, dance for Abby, cheer-leading for Alyssa. The girls are both in gymnastics and I never know if I’m coming or going. In the summer the older kids are enrolled in a day camp two towns over. That’s a twice a day drive. I cook, clean, garden, dabble in my photography, plan and host parties and so much more. I don’t have time to go to the doctor’s office every time I get one of my famous allergy flare up. And then there’s the dreaded cold months. Sniffles and runny noses. Coughs and sneezes. Whatever the kids bring home tends to cling to me specifically. I don’t have time to be sick and I really don’t have time to go sit in a doctors office just to find out if I need this or that or another because every time I call my doctor to ask a question, they want to make me an appointment. For a question? Who has time for that?

Moms Love Amwell #MOMSLOVEAMWELL

That’s why moms and mimi’s like me, love Amwell.  Amwell is an online medical care option where the doctor comes to your home.  This is made possible thanks to all of the wonderful technology we now have. I can talk to a US Board Certified physician from my computer or laptop, tablet or even from my phone. I think the thing I like best about Amwell is there is no more waiting to see a doctor. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been to a doctors office and all I could think of was the things I needed to be doing, only to have my doctor tell me something that I could have heard over the phone. Every time I go on vacation and am in the sun, I have to go to a doctors office just to get a prescription for cream to apply to my rash. NO ONE WANTS TO SPEND THEIR VACATION TIME AT A DOCTORS OFFICE. Amwell is fast and confidential and not only saves time, but it saves money as well. I can get a 10 minute consultation for less than $50 and that’s if my insurance won’t cover the cost. Most insurance companies do cover online doctor consultations.

Please take a second to watch this video for more information.

I’m not the most computer savvy person in the world so I was surprised by how easy Amwell was to use. I can select my doctor and they take it from there. In the convenience of my home, without having to dress up and put on makeup, I can get a consult and save time for the things that are important to me. I don’t have to get behind on life AND I can still take care of the problem at hand health wise. You can’t beat that can you?

Instant live expert healthcare on mobile devices.

I don’t want you to take my word on anything. You can learn more about Amwell by visiting their website and if you’d like your first visit to be free, simply use the code BEWELL8.

Yep, moms love Amwell alright.

This app can really save a lot of time, and I’m happy to learn that the doctors are available 24/7!

This sounds like a very great service. I hate going to the doctors if I don’t have to. This is perfect.

I have recently read a number of blog posts on this new service. I think it is a great service because so often we get ill at times when the doctors office is either closed or too busy. So having access to this service really helps out.

I think this is a great thing to have. A lot of times I know what is wrong with myself or the kids and not having to go to the doctor but still being able to verify would be fantastic.

i love this. I cant believe doctor visits have come to this! Imagine what it’ll be like in 20 years. I just hate going to the dr; I always ask my sister, who is a nurse, if she can tell me whats up before I HAVE to go in.

I have heard a lot about these “online doctors” that you can consult with over the internet. I guess this could be good in certain situations but I still feel like seeing a doctor in person is best.

I am seriously considering doing this. I need a nutritionalist to help me learn to eat a lot better.

This sounds like a great service. I would definitely use it if I couldn’t get out of the house to see my actual doctor for some reason.

I love the 24 hour access, my kids always seem to get sick in the middle of the night. WIth flu season arriving I don’t want the extra germs from sick people in the doctors office.

How convenient! Most of the time when I call to make a doctor appointment they are booked a week and a half out. I am sick now and it can get worse in that time frame. Great idea! Worth checking into.

Amwell sounds like a fantastic service. I know I’d much rather see a doctor from my home than have to drive into an office.
