Sometimes I find myself in the same rut for decades and I’ve been working on changing that. I guess I’m just a creature of habit. And even that’s a habit that’s been hard to break.
From birth until I hit my mid-thirties, I’d never used any soap on my face other than Ivory. Thankfully, I decided to try a handmade soap full of moisturizing ingredients, and I’ve been experimenting with soaps since. I love that there are so many natural soaps available these days.
And then there was my makeup. I used 1 brand from makeup wearing age until again, I hit my mid-thirties. One brand.
There wasn’t any experimenting going on, I ran out, I bought it again. Talk about a boring makeup existence. I think my thirties was a wakeup call for me to break up with my makeup. It was definitely a reckoning with being introduced to all natural products for my skin care.
As someone who is now a full-fledged all natural makeup junkie, I thought you might be interested in some of my very favorite makeup choices. Introducing….
Goodness Glows Full Coverage Liquid Makeup by none other than Burt’s Bees. It comes in so many delicious shades and I’ve found the perfect blend for my skin; Natural Beige. I’m sure you can find your shade too. It runs $17 a bottle but it doesn’t take much to get a perfect looking complexion.
Here’s a screenshot of my shade. Isn’t it dreamy?
Next, on my list is a mood-boosting blush. Even the name perks me up and just wait until you see the cute look. The Physicians Formula Happy Booster™ Glow & Mood Boosting Blush Powder is available at none other than Target. It’s seriously affordable as most Target products are; $8.39.
The next product is the priciest of my picks but you’ll see why I highly recommend it in a minute: Fruit Pigmented® Better Naked Palette. It’s by 100% Pure. The shades are perfect, and I do mean perfect, and comes with highlighter, blush, and eyeshadow so if you decide to use this instead of the above blush, that will help save too. As mentioned it’s a bit on the pricey side but (don’t hate me for this because it will be worth the wait) it’s not available right now so you could be putting aside your change while you wait for it. I do think it’s worth the little splurge and you’ll feel on top of the world while wearing it. Just hit the notify me when available button and you’ll be notified when it’s available again.
Next up is a dreamy creamy RMS BEAUTY Volumizing Mascara that you can only purchase online on Sephora. So scoot on over after you check out my last product suggestion below. Out of all of the makeup I wear, mascara is what I consider my most important. Not only do I look for all natural mascara, it has to be volumizing. Otherwise, I look lashless. And let me tell you, that’s not a pretty look. It’s worth the price of $28.00 but don’t take my word for it, try it and see for yourself. Again, this one is out of stock currently, but sign up for notifications because it’s worth the wait.
Last up is all about your lips. Luscious lips are what every woman seeks and this
