Organizing my home office with House of Doolittle planner and calendar! @Shoplet #ShopletReviews

I am starting 2016 on the right track. I’ve been buying and reviewing office supplies that will help me get my home office organized. Back in my nursing days, there wasn’t a more organized person than myself. After my back surgery and being bed bound for so many years, I became slack with my organizing skills. It was just too painful to do anything during that time and I’m just now getting my life back to some extent. And I’m not organized. At all. I’ve been working to turn that back around this past year and I’ll continue to become as organized and proficient as I once was.

By starting off my new year with a couple of House of Doolittle products, I feel I’ll have more time for doing the things that need to be done which will ultimately give me more time for doing the things I love. Like baking. Besides that, being organized helps relieve stress. Less stress = less back pain. With high hopes of a fresh start, I’ve been getting my new Meeting Planner and Wall Calendar ready to start my year on time.

What I think I most love about the planner is the amount of space provided to jot down everything. Just think of how much easier it will be for me with 12 months of organized meetings. Also very appealing is the fact that this product is environmentally friendly and recycled. The planner is well made with a leatherette hard cover on the front and back and my hand just glides over the soft paper while I’m writing. It also has a really durable wire bound feature so I don’t have to concern myself that this meeting planner will fall apart halfway through the year.

My Wall Calendar is perfect to see 3 months at a glance. There is ample space for jotting down dates work is due or any appointments that come up. I’m keeping it beside my desk on the wall and it will be so much easier to glance over to see what I need to be working on instead of spending valuable time looking through sticky notes. The calendar is vertical so it even fits on small walls. It provides a strong wire binding that firmly keeps the pages together in one place. It also includes a hole at the top to easily hang the calendar on the wall. Like the meeting planner, this wall calendar is made with soy ink and is made with 100% recycled paper.

I have a calendar to help keep me organized for work, but I think I need a planner too. It would be a big help to have something to write down goals, I have a new folder, but thinking about adding a planner too!

This looks great! I hope you get a lot of organization out of them. I’m so bad with planners, but I’m going to try again this year.

My calendar looks just like that. I wonder if it’s the same brand. I always rely on a paper calendar.

I find writing it down definitly helps keep me on track and organized. I love being organized, but sometimes life just gets in the way, and that’s when things start to fall apart. Being organized though keeps me sane.

I dunno what I’d do without planners and calendars. I have a crazy schedule all year round so these things are my best friends. I like that this one is recycled + it used soy ink.

This looks like a great planner! I need to get myself better organized this year – especially when it comes to taxes and finances. I have myself in a pickle now trying to get everything together.

I have a calendar to help keep me organized for blogging, but I think I need a planner too. It would be a big help to have something to write down goals, contact info and more that I am always misplacing.

I love having planners, it makes me feel organised and since I am a to-do list kind of person works wonders for me. When I do not have a planner I feel like I am lost.

I would probably use the small calendar more than the planner. It’s really so convenient!

I love a nice big paper planner. I hate anything on my phone or computer. I want something staring at me every day when I get up.
