Paper Mate InkJoy Gel, My Conference Choices

I’ve got 3 exciting blog conferences coming up (check out my sidebar) and I’m trying to think ahead on what to pack. When it comes to note taking, I’m old school all the way. Luckily Shoplet has all of the office supplies I could ever want or need. I selected a couple of different must haves for the different conference types and included some goodies for the kids as well.

Of course I need good pens to write with. That’s a given. And since I will be doing quite a bit of note taking, I picked pens that have an amazing grip. Paper Mate InkJoy Gel Pens do the job and they don’t smear which is a big plus. They keep up with all my writing and last forever it seems.

When it comes to highlighters, the brighter the better. I color code everything like I used to in college. I’m not sure why but it helps me get organized and it’s an easy way to remember categories. My new 4 pack of Sharpie Clear View Highlighters helps me take the guess work out of what goes where.

I don’t use a lot of dry erase markers on my stuff and I don’t think I will need them for the conferences but I sure do go through them for the kids. Not so much for Tyler than for the girls. He’s old enough to keep up with his schedule. We make weekly and monthly calendars while they are in school or I’d never know which way is up or down. They are involved in after school activities and because of the age differences, their events are at different times and usually different places.

For Alyssa’s dry board we use Expo Duel Ended Dry Erase Markers. She prefers these because they are small. She doesn’t like writing with big markers like Abby does.

Abby prefers Expo Magnetic Dry Erase Markers which is the perfect choice for her. She tends to loose things still and these were made for kids and adults like her, in mind.

I’m always gushing on and on about my finds at Shoplet because they’re affordable, reliable, and best of all, they have such a large variety of supplies including but not limited to cleaning supplies, medical supplies and office furniture.

Have you purchased anything recently from Shoplet that you’d like to share?

  2. Wow I’ve never heard of Shoplet before. But Iยดll have to check them out for my supplies, especially for those bright sharpies.

  3. I remember during college that I am also obsessing on making my notebooks too organized and colorful. And helps me to gain high grades from my professors. I guess they like my notes too ๐Ÿ™‚ Kudos to your review!

  4. I really like Papermate for every day pens and Sharpies have been my go-to highlighters for years. If you’re looking for felt-tipped fine-liners I always recommend Staedtler.

  5. I have not shopped with Shoplet before but it looks like I need to check it out. As a teacher, I am loving all the things you bought!

  6. I bought the biggest dry erase board I could find and put it in my teen’s room. I also bought him a magnetic cup that holds all the colored dry erase markers. He said he didnt want it but it is a great way to leave him little notes to let him know I love him and also to leave him reminders of chores and activities (So I dont have to nag!).

  7. Always a good idea to be fully prepared before a blog conference. Have fun!

  8. I always have trusted the Expo brand. When it comes to my office and for my son’s school supplies.
