ReciFoto App social media for #recipes #ad

I love apps that deal with cooking and recipes which is why I decided to try the ReciFoto App. The fact that it’s free was even more appealing. I’ve been using the ReciFoto App for a little while now and I’m getting into the grove of using it to store my family’s favorite recipes. This app is unique in that I can select to share my recipes with the public or keep them private for my use only. There is also an option to like others recipes for a small fee of .99 cents. Not a bad deal to try recipes that others create and share.

We all have jumped on board with Instagram, right? This app is kind of like Instagram but with recipes instead of photos. You can download the app to your iPhone or your iPad. Since I don’t have an iphone, I’m thrilled that I can use it on an ipad instead. All I have to do is take a photo from any of my recipes which I keep in a book. When I see a recipe in a magazine, I save it to my “recipe book” and even the ones I write down go in my special book.

My book (books is more like it) is pretty much filled with recipes at this point and I’m tired of them taking up so much room in my kitchen. It’s time to take my recipes to an online site because it’s just more convenient. I’m a social butterfly. I love social media and I love that ReciFoto is social media for recipes.

I’m going to walk you through the process of registering. There’s only one step and here it is….

ReciFoto

After I log in and I want to search others recipes to create something different for dinner, I head for the recipe index…

ReciFoto

I then click on whatever I want to cook. And cook I do. It’s that easy folks to have recipes at the tip of your fingers.

To add your recipes is just as easy. Go to your profile after logging in and hover over your icon, then click add new recipe.

recipe

Add the title of your recipe and upload the photo, then click add recipe, like so…

That’s it. I am allowing the public to view the recipes I’ve gotten from magazines and such but I am selecting private on my creations.

Head on over and download this amazing recipe app on your iPhone or your iPad. You can also use this straight from your computer. Happy cooking ya’ll. You’ll thank me later.

  1. Thanks for the great view and comments, everyone.

We do have an Android version, but it is super duper buggy, but it is in the process of being updated. I’m hoping that it will be available within the next week-10 days, if not sooner.

If you have any questions, e mail us at support@recifoto.com. We usually get back to you pretty quickly!

  2. That sounds like a really great app! I will be sure to check this out and tell my friends all about it.

  3. This looks an absolutely amazing way to share and get new recipes. I’m definitely going to be downloading this right away to try it out with a few recipes I have at home, talk about a way to save money too by not having to get so many physical books anymore.

  4. Oh cool, this is a clever little app. I subscribe to magazines like Food Network, so this would really come in handy. Also, it would be nice so that you could easily save those recipes that have been handwritten and have seen better days. And, 99 cents is not a bad deal for being able to view other people’s recipes.

  5. I am actually just the opposite. I can’t cook from a recipe that is on a device. I need it written down in front of me.

  6. I love easy recipes that are quick and yummy to recreate… bonus if they come with photos of how it looks when it’s cooked. That’s when I know for sure if I’d “like” something, even though that completely makes me sound like the pickiest eater of all time. I swear my taste buds are doing better now than they were when I was a kid lol.

  7. Compatibility: Requires iOS 7.0 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. This app is optimized for iPhone 5.

I’ve got way too many cookbooks in my kitchen and I’d love to free up that space.

  8. I love this idea! My husband and I got into a disagreement not too long ago about where to store all of my cookbooks in the kitchen. I have already gotten rid of some, but I still have a bunch out of which I use one or two recipes. Is this just for ios or can you use it on Android too?

  9. This sounds like a great idea. I think the only problem I would have is that I like to have a glass of wine while cooking and my boys are always helping me, so there are tons of spills in our kitchen. And liquids and my expensive tech gadgets just don’t mix! Thanks for sharing!

  10. I’m a huge foodie and love love love my recipes!!! This app sounds pretty awesome!!! I’m definitely going to have to try it out on my iPad! Would be nice to have all my recipes all in one convinent place! Thanks for sharing this info with us!
