I’m an active woman and as an active woman, I don’t want anything to slow me down, not even bladder leakage. That’s why I wanted to wear Depend Silhouette Active Fit Briefs for all of my activities for the past couple of weeks. I wanted to see if there was anything that I couldn’t do while wearing them. There wasn’t. I even ended up with the flu and if anyone has bladder problems, you know what happens when you cough or get sick to your stomach. Especially when the dry heaves kick in like it did with me yesterday. I was thanking the makers of Depend Silhouette Active Fit Briefs through out my entire wearing period but especially over the past 4 days.

I wouldn’t have thought that there could be a bladder leakage product that felt more like undies than diapers but I’m here to tell you that there is. They come in all sizes from Small to XLarge and they even have moderate to ultimate lengths and coverage. They feel like cloth and the thin protection provided did not slow me down at all. Before you dismiss wearing a product like Depend Active Fit Briefs, please take a second to watch the below video.

A few years ago I would have been embarrassed to share information about bladder leakage but after realizing that I’m not alone in this with over 51 million American women just like myself dealing with this problem, has helped me overcome my embarrassment and now when I go to the store to pick up products like Depend Silhouette Active Fit Briefs, I don’t try to hide them in the bottom of my buggy. The first time I experienced bladder leakage was during pregnancy and after giving birth to 3 kids, it’s here to stay. Although I don’t personally have diabetes, I do have an aunt who has bladder leakage due to diabetes.

I’ve read quite a bit about #Underwareness these past couple of years and it made me realize that there’s no reason to sit at home while all of my friends are out living their lives. We only have one life and it’s up to us to make the most of it, or not. I choose to live my active life and Depend is helping me do that. A friend of mine has been trying to get me to join yoga classes with her but I didn’t want to be embarrassed by wearing bulky pads with my workout outfits. When I get over my bout of flu and get my strength back, I’m going to join and surprise her. Just. Like. That. Thanks Depend. With a black and beige choice, and the comfortable fit of Depend Silhouette Active Briefs there isn’t anything I can’t wear nor anything I can’t do.

As Depend continues with it’s #Underwareness movement, they are encouraging women to get out and live life with their Active Fit Briefs. I hope you’ll join me in submitting your photos with Depend Active Fit Briefs and using the hashtag #Underwareness. For every photo and video shared using #Underwareness, the Depend brand will donate $1, up to $3 million, through 2016 to fund charities that advance the research and education of bladder leakage. That’s reason enough for me to share, how about you?

Great that Depends is making them more like underwear. It is so embarrassing when you can detect the extra bulk under your clothes.

These keep getting better and better and now people don’t have to go around looking and sounding like they have a diaper underneath their clothes.

Luckily I don’t need these YET. But, with 6 kids I’m sure these will come in handy soon. I’m glad they have products like these for those who do need them. I know a few ladies with leakage issues who get some embarrassed so anything to make the whole thing a little more discreet is helpful.

Leak bladder is a real issue and its very important to talk about the symptoms to doctor. I had this problem after delivery. I can’t go jumping… the problem went away naturally

How brave of you to cover such a sensitive issue and share with people that you can get bladder incontinence or weakness at any age. They do not look as bad as I expected them to.

Depend is a trusted brand. I don’t have this issue, yet, but I know it will come. I will keep this in mind for when that time comes.

Yay for you and for Depends! I think it is so great that they have taken away the stigma that having a bladder leakage problem is somehow relate or assigned to a set agre range. It can happen to any of us (especially moms) and being prepared for it shouldn’t be an embarassment of discomfort.

Isn’t it amazing how far products like this have come! Heck I remember how I had to wear PADS when I was a teen – before they even came out with the kind that stick to our underwear lol. With the belt … not fun! I would wear them once what I currently use stops working for me – I love how sleek they look and how comfortable they appear to be! Glad you are talking about this! Us women should never feel embarrassed or alone in having these symptoms!

It’s nice that they take some of the bulk and embarrassing nature out of it. It’s important to be protected and now it isn’t embarrassing.

I don’t have leakage issues, but there is a whole group of moms in my zumba class who do & there is always a collective sigh when a song with jumps comes on!
