1 bottle of Pinot Grigio or 4 cups dry white wine
1 pound of granny apples or pears- I use more (usually 3 pounds which is enough to submerge in the juice).
3 cups of sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 cinnamon sticks
4 whole cloves
2 cups of water or apple juice
Peel and core pears or apples and dice or slice. I generally keep pears whole. Add all ingredients to the Ninja Cooking System and stir.
Add 1 to 2 cups of the juice to a saucepan and cook the juice down to a nice thick consistency and drizzle on top of the fruit before serving.
