High temperatures and humidity are two things that can seriously damage any product. As your most expensive items are probably often the most delicate, as they’ve been made with the finest materials by the best craftspeople, moisture could quite easily ruin these products. Keep them in a room or box that isn’t humid enough, and they could quite easily dry out.
