If you have a number of precious items you would be devastated to lose if someone broke into your house, consider installing a solid safe somewhere in your house. Pick a spot that isn’t obvious and is hidden well away from the rest of the house. Also, consider setting up security alarms and cameras to deter anybody from trying to attempt to break into your home.
