It’s been easy for me to find stocking stuffers ideas this year because of the pandemic. Everyone in my family has been asking for products that help kill germs. Some products are not easy to find in my area so I’ve started looking online for products that kill 99.9% of germs. With it being flu season as well as having COVID-19 going rampant, it’s important for me to find products that kill the biggest percentage of germs. Currently, my dad is in the hospital for the second time with COVID-19, this time he also has pneumonia (last time was bronchitis) so naturally, we are all concerned about getting sick as the cold weather increases. Finding stocking stuffers from Good Essential couldn’t have come at a better time.
In case you haven’t heard of Good Essentials, let me introduce them. Good Essentials is an all-natural hand sanitizer and wellness brand. Because their products are all-natural, they’re safe and gentle on the skin. There are two products I’m focusing on specifically today and they are Herbal Infused Hand Sanitizer and Aromatic Face & Mask Mist. Their names are pretty specific but I want to break them down just a little so you’ll understand why I’m choosing these two for stocking stuffers.
The Herbal Infused Hand Sanitizer smells amazing which really isn’t as important as its other features but for me, it’s a plus. I love scented everything. EVERYTHING. Scents help calm me down and that’s a big extra during this scary time of illness. I’m currently ill as well although I tested negative for COVID-19. I do have all of the same symptoms my dad does, so I’ve been really anxious lately. I’ve been relying on scent therapy to help me get through my days. The sanitizer also has 70 % alcohol. I’ve only been buying products with alcohol because as a retired nurse, it’s stuck in my brain that if it doesn’t have alcohol, it doesn’t work. That’s not the case of course but it’s hard to teach an old nurse new tricks ;). The hand sanitizer also has essential oils, which have medicinal properties and help the product smell amazing which I’ve already pointed out. Plus it helps keep hands from drying out. It nourishes and hydrates the skin to help strengthen the skin which is important to help it keep a natural barrier.
Now, on to the Aromatherapy Face & Mask Mist. This spritzer is designed to provide powerful anti-bacterial properties that help to kill bacteria in the air surrounding you when you have to leave your home or are around others and it also works to do the same on your mask. It’s perfect for anyone but especially for those that have to wear a mask all day such as my daughter who works for a local physician. She’s in a mask more often that she’s out of one and she is going to get a lot of use out of the face and mask mist that I plan to put in her Christmas stocking (yes I still make my grown kids stockings). It has lavender, rosemary, grapefruit, and lemon essential oils so I’m pretty sure you can imagine how heavenly this mist smells. Per the website, this mist “helps regulate and rebalance your condition, eases stress, calms the mind, and even provides relief from seasonal allergies and colds.”
