If you’re already tired of being in quarantine (I’m going a little nuts here in Georgia) and find yourself restless for something to do, check out these 3 ideas to tap into your creative side. Not only will they help you share your expertise to wide audiences, but they will also help you build up your blog audience as well.
Vurbl Podcasts
With all this time on your hands, it’s time to get your creative juices flowing and start your audio creation. Whatever it is you have to share, now is the perfect time to share your audio influence about the topic or topics you’re most influential or feel passionately about. Vurbl helps audio creators broadcast their podcasts, daily commentary, and any other audio creations to the world.
Vurbl isn’t just for creators. I go to Vurbl when I want to find podcast tips on the virus itself or on how to get through a coronavirus quarantine, when I’m looking for craft ideas, and even when I want to enjoy a few podcasts about pets. They offer so many topics that pique my interest, I’ve even been thinking about starting a podcast as well. More on that later.
YouTube Video Creations
I think everyone is familiar with YouTube. Most people like myself use YouTube to view the coronavirus news, keep up with current affairs, and be entertained: I even like to watch some Britcoms that I can’t view anywhere else. I also create videos on YouTube to help spread the word on products I review and to share my travels with my family.
I also have several music playlists on YouTube that I listen to for different things. I have a music playlist that helps me get in a cleaning mood, I have one for when I’m cooking, and I even have one that I listen to when I need to destress after a busy day. YouTube is also a great way to get more traffic to your website.
YouTube Vlogs are becoming more and more popular and are a great way to make an extra side income after you build up your following.
Instagram IGTV
I was late jumping in on the Instagram craze. I wasn’t really sure I needed to start one and I’m so glad I talked myself into it. Instagram is a fun way to share my photos and videos with my followers. I also spend a lot of time looking at other bloggers’ Instagrams. One thing I’ve recently started doing is creating Instagram IGTV videos. I’m new at this and I’m not going to lie, it’s a little more challenging to me for some reason but I’m learning as I go. I like the idea of reusing my old videos from other social media sites and give them a new “do” so to speak.
If you’re just starting Instagram completely from scratch, or if you want to skip the hard work of securing followers, Upleap would be a good place to start.
Technology is evolving and if we want to be successful bloggers, we need to roll with the tide.
