I love to go camping and glamping. I have so many fond childhood memories of camping with my family so when I started my own family, I made sure they shared my love of the outdoors by taking them on camping adventures. Now my kids have their own kids and they also love to go camping. They are more into glamping, but we live in a different time than I did as a child. Creature comforts are the reason behind glamping versus camping. I appreciate glamping more as I age but to me, there’s nothing better than throwing my tent in my trunk and heading out for a weekend of tech-free time spent with nature.
Because I’m an outdoorsy nature loving tree hugging girl (I was often called a tomboy back in my prime), I wanted to include something in my holiday shoppers gift guide for the adventure seekers on your holiday gift-giving list and I have the perfect product for those cold camping, outdoor days. It’s called a Kubie by Kijaro and it’s so many products in one, I’m still learning ways to use mine and it’s one of the few products that I don’t share with the kids. Even though they have their own cartoon sleeping bags, they informed me they’re getting older and want a Kubie. So, yeah, I’m going to have to get them their own.
It’s so big and roomy, I almost couldn’t spread it out in my home office where I work on product reviews. So, it’s safe to say that a Kubie will just about fit anyone under 250 lbs. Here are a few of the cool things you can use it for. It’s an insulated poncho. A ground cover. A sleeping bag. A pillow. A hammock or hammock liner. An underquilt and a shade canopy. Whew, that’s a whole lot of usefulness right there. Not only is it made for all of your adventures, or those on your gift giving list this Christmas, but it’s made so well, it will last for years and years to come. It can even be defined as the gift that keeps on giving. It even has a water-resistant coating so rainy and snow days are not a concern any longer.
