Hello, spring. I’ve been saying that every morning when I wake up and look outside and see my new spring patio decor from Big Lots. This year is extra special because it’s my first spring/summer season in my new apartment. 4 years ago I decided to downsize. HGTV Tiny House, Big Living made it look so easy. It wasn’t. I looked everywhere for a smaller home in my area as well as in surrounding areas. I finally realized I was going to have to consider an apartment. I found what I thought would be the perfect place to live, it
I’ve got spring fever in the worst way. As soon as I got moved into my new apartment in December, I made an evergreen pot of plants so I could have green to look at during the cold months. I bought a cute container to plant them in and boy did they take off. I think it turned out super cute and I purchased some Norfolk trees as well. I’ve got to have some type of color, especially green, year round or I get the winter blues. If I don’t have color, I need patterns. I’ve been jumping the gun
I live in a small apartment. I decided to embrace tiny house living after failed back surgery. I’m a neat freak and it was stressing me out trying to keep up with a bigger home and deal with my chronic pain. Apartment living turned out the be a great decision but little did I know how hard it would be in regards to storage solutions. It didn’t take me long to learn what options I have in that regards and that’s where my new foldable storage ottoman from the FHE Group comes into play. Some neat things to note about
The living room is one of the most used spaces in every household. Regardless if you use it to watch TV, relax with your family or organize gatherings in it, it needs to be properly set up and of course, painted. We already know that different colors cause different effects on your overall mood, so painting your living room in the same color as your bedroom might not be such a good idea unless you want to be sleepy in both of them. When painting any space, it all comes down to what mood and atmosphere you want to create.
During the mad rush of the season, I sometimes forget that I need to set aside me time. Time for my beauty routine which I relish with an excessive amount of enthusiasm. Time to read (my favorite thing in the world to do). Time to watch The Walking Dead on Netflix. Time to sit and be still and do nothing at all. It’s important that we all take me time out of our busy days for our health and sanity. I started yoga last year and I’ve been slack with it lately along with being slack in taking me time.
