15-Day Mindfulness Challenge to Reduce Anxiety

Anxious feelings are something we all experience from time to time—especially during the past year. To help combat these feelings, it’s important to make it a priority to care for yourself from the inside out. If you’re struggling with feelings of anxiety, you’re not alone!   1. Spend time outdoors 

Nature can do wonders to help relieve stress and anxiety. Whether you go for a walk around your neighborhood, get adventurous and go on a hike or just pack your lunch up and go on a picnic, the fresh air can increase those endorphins and put you in a better mood. 

  1. Watch something that will make you laugh 

Who doesn’t love a good laugh? Watching a movie or show that you know will make you laugh is a great way to boost your mood and take your mind off of whatever is making you anxious. Laughter really is the best medicine, so try to make an effort to get a few giggles in each day.

Who said coloring is only for kids? Coloring pages have become extremely popular and for good reason! It’s a simple and mindless way to relax your mind and alleviate stress. There’s a ton of printable coloring pages and books to choose from, so pick one that sparks your interest and will be fun to complete. 

  1. Unplug for a day 

Mindlessly scrolling through social media and being on our phones all day isn’t necessarily the best thing for our mental health. Try unplugging from social media and other electronics for the day and focus on being present. This is a great way to take a mental reset and get a handle on your emotions.
