When it’s cold and rainy out, the kids enjoy staying indoors playing games such as Monkey May I. Hoyle Monkey, May I?TM helps kids 4-6 learn about making good choices, self-control, and self-awareness is one of several suggestions I have for last minute stocking stuffers this year. They’re also perfect for traveling during the holidays.
I’m going to start with Monkey May I. Monkey May I kind of reminds me of the game, Simon Says. Or Mother May I. One of the things I really like about this game is that there are 2 levels of play so it helps the kids not to get bored when playing. Each level can be completed in 15 minutes so it’s not long and drawn out which also helps keep their interest in the game. It’s recommended for kids ages 4 to 6 but my tween and teens also enjoy playing it. Monkey May I can be purchased at https://bicyclecards.com/ and Amazon.
Next up is Hoyle Super Me. This game helps kids put their memory to the test which helps them to think and learn. This game helps kids learn empathy and how to help others. There is also a level that encourages discussion. It would make a great Christmas gift for teachers or kids that need to work on their social skills. It’s around $5 on Amazon and well worth the price. It’s also recommended for kids 4 to 6, but again, all of the kids enjoy this game. Even I like playing it.
You can buy Hoyle Super Me at BicycleCards.com and Amazon.
