Casino game review of Lucha Legends Slot

Another phenomenal game by igaming giants Microgaming, Lucha Legends was released just in time for Halloween, 31st October in 2018. The game comes with twenty-five pay lines, five reels, three rows, and has a healthy return to player percentage (RTP) of 96.38%. It has a low to medium variance but a maximum win of 165,000 credits. The minimum stake is 0.25p and the maximum stake is £75. The game at www.slotzo.com/fi is available across IOS and Android and is available on all devices.

Lucha Legends is based upon a wrestling theme, Lucha meaning fight in Spanish. When we say wrestling though, we mean madcap crazy wrestling.  Burro, El Diablo, Martio, Sal, and Pepe lead the game and excitement.

The game offers the usual low-value playing card symbols, ten, Jack, Queen, King, and Ace as well as the higher value symbols, the five luchadors, a ring girl, and a referee. The Wild symbol is the logo and as always this substitutes all other symbols with the exception of the Scatter, which is a wrestling belt symbol.

All the luchadors pay up to six times the stake and the other symbols pay up to three times the stake so there are some good wins to be had. It’s as simple as landing three matching symbols.

The Wild symbol, the Lucha Legends logo, appears on reels two, three, and four. The game offers a Super Wild feature, which can occur when a Wild lands. There are two different features, one that can randomly multiply the Wild and one that can spread to adjacent positions. There is also a Power-Up Mode. When this is applied the stake doubles and the frequency of the Super Wild feature increases. A multiplier will also be applied and can be anything up to five times the stake. Lucha Legends also offers the option of ten free spins subject to getting three or more Scatter symbols anywhere on the reels.  Getting three Scatters during the bonus game will, however, award the player with another ten free spins and two Scatters will award the player with an additional one free spin. The top win on the game can be a multiplier of 2186 at the stake. The return to player percentage changes ever so slightly when the Power-Up Mode is activated.

Lucha Legends has a quirky Mexican feel to it with Mexican music playing alongside the five luchadors, the referee, and the ring lady who are all depicted in cartoon style. The game is renowned for being a little bit crazy and being one of the funniest games out there.

Reviews claim that Lucha Legends is one of the best games released by Microgaming at the time of it being launched. The game doesn’t require big bets to appreciate it as the changes are very minimal as mentioned above but the quirkiness of the game and the added bonus features make it a fun-filled experience.
