Best casino game: Slots, Roulette or Blackjack?

It is the age-old question isn’t it, what is the best casino game of them all? Many people will have many different answers, some of which they will defend vehemently. Oh yes, you might not think it, but many gamblers are actually incredibly sensitive about their preferred game at 666 Casino, and they won’t take being disagreed with lightly, that’s for sure.

The question often comes down to the three most popular casino games, Slots, Roulette or Blackjack. Other than Poker these are the most heavily played casino games, and as such when you ask most people what the best casino game is they will reply with one of the three. But really, what is the best one? Let’s take a look at each one, before deciding on a victor.

Slots

Invented back in the late 1800s by a man called Charles D. Fey, slots have captured the public imagination in the hundred or so years since, quickly becoming the biggest gambling industry of them all. Of course, this is mainly down to the relatively recent emergence of online slots, something that has greatly increased the overall slots market.

The biggest positive to online slots is the fact that they can be played anywhere provided you have an adequate Internet connection, something that completely does away with the need to visit a casino. They are also incredible amounts of fun, whilst offering a fantastic chance of winning a whole load of money.

Roulette

Roulette swept across Europe and subsequently America in the 1800s, becoming one of the most popular casino games in the world as a result of its inherent dynamism. Indeed, there are few things that beat the experience of watching a Roulette wheel spinning, as you hope desperately for the ball to land on your bet square.

The obvious positive to Roulette is that it is by far the most dynamic casino game, and it can also be responsible for a great community feel seeing as it is played against the dealer by a large group of people.

Blackjack

As many gambling experts and historians will tell you, Blackjack is actually the oldest example of a genuine gambling game in the world, having its roots way back in Ancient times. Miguel de Cervantes, writer of Don Quixote, mentioned the game “21” way back in the 16th Century, proof of Blackjack’s timelessness.

It is also a game that is possible to master to a very high degree, the main reason why most professional gamblers count Blackjack as an indispensable part of their arsenal. Perhaps the only downside from it is the fact that there isn’t much variation after a point, however this can simultaneously increase your chances of a win.

Who is the victor?

So, who emerges as the ultimate victor between these three games then? It is a difficult choice to make, and is ultimately down to personal gambling preferences. With that being said, however, we just don’t think you can look past slots – they come in so many different shapes and sizes, and are consistently excellent!
