Camping and glamping are a big part of our summers. The kids enjoy getting out and exploring nature and I love that they’re leaving (most) of their devices behind. While camping and or glamping can be an exciting experience in itself, I’ve learned some ways to make it even more fun for the whole family and that helps the kids want to put down any devices they did bring along. It’s really encouraging when they forget about their phones or tablets because they’re having so much fun spending time with the family. I hope you’ll enjoy the following products equally as well and have as much luck with them in enticing the family to disconnect and enjoy time well spent.

…The following product isn’t just for your camping/glamping trips. You can enjoy looking back and remembering things you did from this Family Camping Journal. If you really want to get the kids involved, give them each one to keep up with. It’s perfect for even those that don’t like to journal because of all of the writing prompts. This rusting camping journal is not gender specific. It’s made for boys, girls, kids & families
…I love a personalized product. There’s just something homey about seeing my name or initials on a product. That’s why I think having a homemade personalized camping sign for your camping space not only makes for some fun photos and it makes for a cozy home-like feel. Home away from home.
…Marshmallows, S’mores, and even hotdogs taste better on colorful flames, don’t you agree? This Magical Flames 12-pack package gives twice the color at half the price! Creates Vibrant, Rainbow Colored Flames. Even the grumpiest camper/glamper will perk up with these bright colorful flames, dancing the night away.
…Mix things up when the weather is on your side and leave the air mattresses & tent at home. Instead, opt for hammock camping. I guarantee the kids will enjoy it and so will you when you realize how much easier it is to set them up than some tents, and how much less you have to pack. Plus they’re much more comfortable.
…Keep the family active with the Camping Activity Book for Families. It is guaranteed to keep everyone busy with a wide variety of fun outdoor activities, games, crafts, songs, and good old-fashioned fun for parents and children to share in the wonders of the outdoors. It’s so much fun that it was the winner of the 2017 Independent Publisher Book Award in the Children’s Interactive category!
…One of the things I really enjoyed as a kid when we’d go camping was the swings my dad would rig up. And then I had my own kids who enjoy swinging as well. If you’re not handy like that, no worries. This Tree Swing Disc Rope Swing is perfect to take along. It’s small enough to not take up as much room as a tire would for a tire swing and it’s fun to boot.
…Privacy can be an issue while camping or even glamping but this pop up dressing/changing tent beach toilet shower changing room helps even the most modest camper feel more secure. It’s large enough for just about anyone to move around in it with enough room.
…There’s no way I’m going to take a cold shower unless it’s my one and only choice. The kids get that from me. But it doesn’t have to be a choice with the right equipment. Having hot water on demand with this H2Oasis Portable Water Heater takes even camping to more of a glamping level. Plus, you can get your dishes squeaky clean too.
