Fall is my favorite time of year.  The weather is perfect, it’s not too hot and not too cold. The only complaint I have is the time.  With fewer daylight hours, it’s taking some creative thinking to keep the kids busy at night so they don’t automatically want to get on their devices more. When I say kids, I mean all of the neighborhood kids. For some reason, they love to come over and hang out with me and little Peanut (woof). One of the ways I’ve found to help keep them from getting bored is to have game night several times a week.  Our latest game choice is a very gassy hippo.  For kids of all ages, Burping Bobby is now a favorite here.

As noted above, the object of the game is to feed Burping Bobby the stinky food tokens which make him burp. What makes this especially fun is you never know when he’s going to burp. And every time he does, the kids giggle until their bellies hurt. Watching them laugh and have fun is just as much fun as playing the game IMO. You add a little water with an object that is included and it does require batteries that are not included (3 AAA batteries). Other than that, everything else that is needed is included in the game. As you can see from the above video, this fun hippo emits real lights and steam when he burps!
