Earth Day is April 22 and I’m going to share a company that I feel really and truly does its part to help save our planet with environmentally friendly products. Today’s company has found a unique way to use more plants and less plastic in ordinary products we all use on a daily basis. Products that range from Paper towels to trash bags, to straws and everything in between.
If someone had told me 20 years that I would be eating off of paper plates one day that were made from plants, I doubt I would have believed that. But here I am doing my part to help keep our planet green by doing just that. And the most surprising thing is just how durable they are. I don’t use paper plates because they’re not environmentally friendly, but now I can. They’ll be useful for picnics and when I host brunch or even the kids’ Birthday parties.
A paper plate that is durable enough for sloppy joes has my approval. I have never used more durable paper plates. I guess I should say, plant-based plates.
After discovering Repurpose, I wanted to learn everything I could about them and their products, and it’s been an enlightening journey. In fact, along the way, I decided that not only do I plan to continue using their products but I’m encouraging you to as well.I didn’t realize just how much toilet paper production harms our environment. What I’ve learned since discovering Repurpose is that toilet paper production kills 27,000 trees a day. This is why Repurpose uses renewable materials for their paper products such as bamboo paper towels and toilet paper.
