Covid-19 is going to go down in history, and a lot of us have never been in this position where literally every other country to some extent. Going into lockdown is a little scary, and trying to keep active at home can be difficult, especially when you’re living alone. Here are some things to do during the Covid-19 lockdown.

Do Plenty Of Reading
Reading is an important part of everyone’s education, and it’s important to do plenty of it throughout your life. We forget how much reading can help build our vocabulary and to build our skills and communication. Regardless of the genre, set yourself a number of books you’d like to read over the course of the lockdown. You might already have a selection of books in your home, but you can still order books online too through websites like eBay. It can be a great way of spending a few hours with a glass of wine or a cup of tea (or several!). If you’re not a big reader, then don’t try anything too complex, to begin with. Keep it pretty simple as you start to find what genres you favor and which authors are the ones you like the most. You can also read blogs like Karrol’s Korner, for example.
Start Something You Didn’t Finish
A lot of us are definitely renowned for starting things that we don’t finish. When you’re suddenly at home for the majority of the day, you might as well focus on something you have yet to complete. It could be painting a room or simply decluttering your room. You could try your hand at knitting that blanket you started or doing some bigger renovation works to your home. Remember though to keep to your domain of skills and talents as you obviously can’t have people coming over to help unless they live with you!
Do Some Exercise
As most of us are on lockdown, there’s not really much we’re able to do in the way of outdoor activities, however, you can still exercise. If you’re a regular gym-goer then perhaps it’s time to invest in a bit of home equipment to keep you occupied. There are lots of different exercises you can do to keep you active, and you might still be able to go out running as long as you keep your distance. Exercise is important, so try to do plenty of it during this time to improve your health.
Binge Watch Your Favorite Films
This is an obvious suggestion but one that shouldn’t get old too soon because we literally have so much at our fingertips in the way of films and television shows. Take an afternoon or evening to watch your favorite films and take this time to watch some of the franchises too.
There are so many things you can do at home, but the most important thing is to stay connected. Try to speak to your friends and family regularly and speak up if you’re not feeling yourself.
