Busy Moms Use Slimwear
I received the below product for review purposes from Slimwear. All opinions are 100% mine.
I don’t know about you but I’ve been running non-stop this summer. The older the kids get, the more things they are involved in and it seems like we are on the go all the time. It’s going to be a couple more weeks before I can slow down and resume my full-time online presence and get my home back in order. Before that happens, though, I’m going on vacation with 5 others and I’m looking forward to some adult time. I want to sit in the sun and drink cute little umbrella drinks and sink my feet into beach sand. What I don’t want is to take along extra baggage, meaning, the added weight I’ve put on over this past year.
That’s where Slimwear comes in handy. Portion control plates that are elegant enough for company but casual enough for every day use.
And how cute is this set I selected; leopard with orange hibiscus flowers?
One of my busy mom hacks I’d like to share with you is that you don’t need anything extra to decrease your meal portions. I live in a studio apartment so I don’t have room for anything I don’t absolutely need. If like me, you are trying to watch what you eat, all you need are Slimwear plates at a great rate. I’m not kidding. I never kid about space and money. No kitchen scale is needed. No measuring cups are needed. You don’t need a special cookbook. All you need are a cute set of these pack of 4 melamine plates. Each plate provides graphically-designed areas for food placement. It looks like the design of the plate and no one but you has to know that you’re helping your family cut out unnecessary amounts of food by placing their food on the designed areas. It’s a brilliant concept if you as me.
I’ve been using my Slimwear plates every time I eat and they are really helping to decrease my portions. I stay away from seconds and only eat what will fit in the specially designed portion control areas. There’s a space for everything and by eating slower, I’m on my way to dropping my added baggage before I leave for my vacation. I love vegetables more than I do anything else and I was happy to see that the largest portion control area for my plates is specifically for vegetables. Next, in size is the area for carbohydrates/side dishes. The smallest size is for proteins. If it’s a healthy protein, there is an extended area to give you more space.
You can see all of the designs to match your own kitchen at Slimwear. Be sure to check out the new microwave safe ceramic plates. I’ve got my eye on my next set in the microwave safe area. Follow Slimwear on Facebook and Twitter to stay up to date on promotions and news.
