It’s not always easy to find educational products that provide hours of fun, keeps the kids engaged and helps them learn to use their imagination. However, I was up to the task and while doing some searching and reading reviews, I discovered the Design & Drill® Space Circuits from educationalinsights.com. I don’t know any little kid that doesn’t dream of becoming an astronaut one day. I can clearly remember it being something I thought I’d like to do when I was a child and that was fueled by the fact that we lived near Kennedy Space Center. I can remember the way the windows shook and rattled during launch, just like it was yesterday. Not everyone gets to live thru the window-rattling experience I did but everyone can imagine becoming an astronaut.

Everything is included in this set to help kids build early engineering and problem-solving skills. The Design & Drill Space Circut creativity set allows kids to work on mission sets while helping them to work on their fine motor skills. It’s educational, tons of fun, durable, engaging and interactive. “Includes space-themed circuit board, battery pack, kid-safe power drill, 20 colorful bolts, 12 small connectors, 6 long specialty connectors, 1 clear moon doom, 10 double-sided space-themed challenge cards, and instruction guide.”
I got this set for my neighbor’s grandson. He loves hands-on toys and I knew from reading about this set that it was something he would get a lot of use out of. Jacob is all boy so one of the biggest things that Jacob enjoys is the working powers drill. It allows kids to use it to apply the screws as well as to remove them. What we love about the drill is how durable it is. This drill will last well beyond his use of it. Ages are 5 to 8 for this set but the older kids in his family enjoy this as well.
Batteries are not included.
The moment Jacob completes a mission he is really proud. He spent his weekend showing everyone how to create the different mission control boards and it was fun watching his excitement when he would finish one. He’d have me test them and you could tell he was having the time of his life. Don’t you just love it when a toy provides this much fun while teaching them educational skills that will help them grow and learn?
I’m adding this toy to my “gifts for any occasion” category in my above menu so you can find it readily and easily when you’re looking for a unique gift that allows kids to reach for the sky. This is a 5 star rated product and it’s easy to see why it has such high star ratings.

Looks like a wonderful and interactive toy to have. I remember always wanting to fix things when I was a kid, Mus be fulfilling to get a toy like this one.
What a detailed toy! This is amazing and educational at the same time.
How fun. I would have loved this as a kid. I was so into everything astronomy and NASA.
Back are these days for me. You brought so many good memories of the time my boys wanted to be Bob the builder! Thanks for sharing!
This is such a great idea to get kids to be creative and learn something new. Other educational gifts include the ones of the brain, human body, volcanoes and lab experiments. It is good to get them to become inventors and scientists of the future.
What a great concept. You are right, it is difficult to find educational toys that keep children’s attention. I will have to keep this in mind! Thanks for sharing!
These are the types of educational toys that help encourage not only our future astronauts but also doctors, technicians, scientists, and more. We enjoyed giving them to our older grandchildren and now can’t wait for our 8-month-old granddaughter to be old enough for them.
Oh man this is really cool! My nephew is a little young for the age range but maybe one day I can get this for him.
