Terri Ramsey Beavers I’ve talked about science a lot on this site because it was my favorite subject in school. I want my kids to love it as much as I do and I’ve also been buying science projects for the neighborhood kids. I fully believe that kids should learn to use their imaginations from an early age. I don’t have an issue with tech products but I always like to buy a wide variety of imaginative toys for kids of all ages before I even consider buying tech products.
One thing I’ve found for Christmas this year are several E-Blox sets geared towards kids of different ages. The kids have had so much fun with their Circuit Blox™ Lights ‘n Motion- E-Blox® and I love that it allows them to combine imagination science with building blox to create animate lights. I’m not the only one that thinks this would make a great Christmas gift or gift for any occasion. For instance, the power blox standard set is for ages 8+ and it received the Created Child 2019 toy of the year in the STEM builder toys category and it also received the creative child Creative Play of The Year Award in the creative construction play category.
It comes complete with everything you need including an instruction sheet that gives your kids step-by-step instructions all along the way which shows how to connect the multi-function controller module, voice/ sound controller module, color-changing lamp module, and battery block together. It needs 3 AA batteries so be sure to stock up on batteries when you make your purchase and believe me when I say it provides hours of fun as kids work to create the different lights that pass through the blox.
