#DASANIDrops delicious & no calories

This post is brought to you by Markerly for DASANI Drops and Shabby Chic Boho. All opinions, as always, are 100% mine.

We’ve had the flu here in Georgia and let me tell you, holding anything down has been a challenge. Lucky for me, I received several different DASANI Drops flavors and I say lucky because I don’t like water and the kids like drinking it even less. I knew the kids needed fluids so they wouldn’t get dehydrated and by the time I caught the flu, I knew I needed fluids as well, maybe even more so because I caught some of the symptoms worse than the kids did. We all have been sipping on water with the delicious flavors of DASANI Drops for hydration. This is probably the first time I didn’t get dehydrated from the flu because not only have I been able to tolerate the flavored water, I’ve even started craving it to quench my thirst. Who’d of thought flavored water drops could taste so good?

Today I still can’t tolerate food but I’ve been up and about some and I’m trying to drink as often as I can. The kids went back to school and I knew I had to get some work done while I had the house to myself so I tried to come up with a beverage with enough sugar to give me a little energy and it only took one try to find my new favorite fruity beverage.

I’m going to share the recipe I created using my #DASANIDrops and I hope you’ll try it. It’s so surprisingly delicious, it’s going to be my next party drink. You can add your favorite spirits to it or drink it as a delicious & refreshing tropical fruit drink. I made a pitcher of it today and it’s truly helping me get my strength back. I even took my little Peanut (my 2 lb Chihuahua) for a 15 minute walk after drinking a glass full of my new beverage.

Ingredients:
1/4 cup sugar or sugar substitute
1 cup pineapple juice
3/4 cup lime juice
Water
DASANI Drops as desired (pink lemonade and pineapple coconut)
Ice cubes
1 heaping cup of Diced Pineapple

I’ve made the decision to join a yoga class because I’ve been a slacker with doing my yoga at home. These small, squeezable DASANI Drops bottles can easily fit in my yoga bag or handbag or even in my back pocket for that matter. Even with my arthritis, these bottles are so easy to squeeze, there’s no pain involved. AND, Since I know how refreshing and delicious the drops are in water, I’m going to start making the healthy decision to grab water instead of all of the coffee I’d normally grab while out and about. Each bottle has 32 servings so there’s no need for me to have to keep several bottles with me.

What would your favorite DASANI Drops flavor be or if you’ve tried any of them, which one is your go to for your no-calorie drink?

My absolute flavor of these is the Strawberry Basil – it is unsweetened yet packed with a lot of flavor!
