DIY Pest Control

Sharing is caring!

As soon as the weather turned cold here, ants started invading our little nest. I’ve had ants get in before and they ate holes in our clothes that were in the laundry hamper. I had no idea that they could do that. This time, I went searching for an DIY pest control solution and I came across a very helpful infographic that I hope will help you as well if you are having a pest problem. I would have never guessed that coffee grounds would deter them. One of our local pest control companies comes every 4 weeks to spray so we don’t get pests, but for some reason, those little ants don’t take heed. When they want in, they find a way. I was afraid to put out something with chemicals in it because I didn’t know what would happen if I sprayed the ants with anything in the area where our pest control service guy sprays his stuff.

Shooooo fly ants don’t bother me.

Anyhow.. hope this helps you as it’s helped me.

  1. This infographic is super helpful. I pay to have a pest service come out and I have been needing to downsize on the services that we have at the house. Pest control is one I am getting rid of so this will be very helpful.

  2. Okay I totally love you for this post. Most winters I end up have the carpenter ants which to me are like cockroaches. I haven’t see any this year but just in case. I so dislike spiders so I am for sure trying a couple of these mixes. Thanks so much for sharing.

  3. We get ants every summer. We are always putting out ant traps and spraying around the entire yard. I need to start saving my coffee grounds.

  4. Thank you for this infographic! I’m seeing little bugs crawl out from inside and was just thinking what to do! Information you have on this page is very useful.. I will be sharing this with my friends too :)
