Doctor on Demand, 10 Perils of Summer #ad

“This is a sponsored post with Mums the Word Network and Doctor on Demand. All opinions are my own.”

In our busy day and lives, it’s not always easy and convenient to take off of work to go to the doctor and sometimes, we don’t really need to go to the doctor but just need a doctor’s advice on what to do. I had failed back surgery after my spine collapsed, and after being bed bound for four years, it’s been a long, hard, painful struggle to learn to live with the pain that I’ll always have. Winter months are really hard on me. On rainy and cold days, my pain level shoot up to ER level if I don’t get it under control. That’s when I need to talk to a doctor without actually having to go in (because who wants to drive when you have chronic pain and every movement is unbearable). At Doctor on Demand, I can talk to a doctor who can tell me holistic ways to get my pain level under control because I prefer holistic over prescriptions when possible.

And then there’s summer. If you are anything like us, the warmth of the sun draws us outdoors. We love to entertain and host parties & BBQ’s and all sorts of outings. During the warm months comes the 10 Perils of Summer and that’s when Doctor on Demand comes in handy again, for us. In case you are unsure of what these are, please see below.

10 Perils of Summer

Abby and I are both allergic to bee/wasp/any kind of insect stings and we have to keep EpiPens on hand. But sometimes it’s great to talk to a doctor to find out ways to relieve the pain associated with the stings, especially where Abby is concerned. You can avoid the 10 Perils of Summer with the help of Doctor on Demand. Click on any link or image in my post to read more.

We’ll spend a lot of time outside this summer. Since I have two little ones, I’ll have to watch and protect ourselves from all of these perils.
