Get Ready To Glow

Summer is generally my favorite time of the year for getting a gorgeous tan and enjoying the beach waves. However, while we all enjoy the warm sun rays, our skin is suffering, getting dry and damaged. UV rays are becoming more harmful for the skin, and despite all the sunscreens and protection that we apply, our skin still needs a post-summer treatment to restore the previous glow and elasticity.

Facial Appointment

Once you are all done with the beach, swimming pool, and tanning, it’s time to relieve the skin from the sun exposure. Call your cosmetic salon and schedule a facial appointment as soon as possible. Aside from being exposed to the sun, your skin has also suffered a sea salt and/or swimming pool chlorine impact. Chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and mud masks will have a soothing effect on your skin, leaving it refreshed and energized.

Hydration

Hydration of the body is beneficial for both the organism and the skin. Considering the skin is the largest organ of the human body, it requires special attention. Drinking six to eight glasses of water every day will help you maintain both a lean figure and flawless skin. If your skin is dry and dull, it means that your body craves water. As we’ve mentioned before, the UV rays will dry the skin very much, so it needs to be extra hydrated in the summer months, and especially after the vacation.

Exfoliate

Restore the glow of your skin by removing the dead cells from your face and exfoliate consistently. Whitening facial foam and numerous exfoliating lotions and scrubs will do wonders for the face after tanning. Products with Pro-Vitamin B3 will help lighten the skin and all the dark spots, which will give you flawless skin as a result. Depending on how sensitive your skin is, try to use facial scrubs 2-4 times a week, but only during this period. Later you can continue with the usual routine.

Moisturize

Moisturizing lotions, creams, and oils are the essential parts of a good skincare routine. During the winter and summer months, skin requires more detailed care, so all skincare products should be used more frequently. Furthermore, some products that we use in spring or fall months should be replaced with more effective ones. Use products with Omega 3 and Omega 6 oils to your skin to increase its elasticity and density, which will make it glow again.

Live a Healthy Life

A healthy lifestyle is imperative if you want to have radiant skin. Therefore, you must avoid junk food, sweets, chocolate, and all the food that’s harmful to your body. One of the main causes of dull skin is precisely sugary food, so avoid it at all costs. Caffeine and alcohol will, in most cases, dehydrate the skin and leave it dull as well. Therefore, eat a lot of fruit and vegetables and food rich in omega-3 fatty acids, proteins, minerals, and enzymes.

Additionally, exhaustion will eventually cause your skin to look older than it actually is. Wrinkles, dark circles, and discoloration of the skin can actually be the side effects of sleep deprivation. Therefore, make sure you have at least eight hours of sleep a night to maintain a healthy body and mind. Furthermore, lack of sleep causes weakness in the immune system, which further leads to illnesses, flu, and different infections. Therefore, stay healthy by sleeping regularly, eating healthy food, and being active. Finally, physical activity will also help your skin stay radiant and flawless. Prevent the appearance of cellulite by working out regularly, having your training sessions at least three times a week.

It’s so important to take care of your skin from a young age so that you have no regrets in that department when you are older. I’m speaking from experience. I easily look much younger than I am.
