Subscription Box Treats from Serbia, Croatia #internationalsnacks #TryTreats #holidaygiftguide2015

I woke up today thinking today would be a day like all others. I’d stumble to the coffee pot, brush my hair and teefies, put Peanuts harness on and take him for his morning outing. I knew I’d go to the post office and check my mail while I was out and about. It’s an every day routine. I knew I’d come home and play fetch with Peanut while Cheslea would try to steal his toys.
But today wasn’t like any other. I woke up to realize that a post I had prescheduled posted as a private post. Noooooooooooooo. That was a quick and easy fix but when something goes wrong first thing in the morning, I tend to get stressed. So today was different in that I was a bit stressed and annoyed at myself for my error. I still did all of the things I knew I would from my perk me upper aroma of coffee brewing to my brisk walk in the cold fall air to the Post Office. After popping in the Post Office and chatting away with my favorite postal worker while she petted and doted on Peanut, I came home with a new package.
Packages make me happy. Some packages make me happier than others.
It wasn’t until I opened my package that my day started looking up for me. I saw one word on the box. Treats. I knew from experience that this box of treats would hold international snacks from places I’ll probably never be able to visit. This subscription box service is my way of traveling to all of the places I had hoped to travel to by now but it hasn’t happened yet. Wanting to savor every second of opening my Treat box from Serbia/Croatia, I decided to video tape it. I misread the area in my video but that’s okay. I did receive something from Germany, the Happy Hippo. I’ve had one of these before and I stuck it in the freezer then ate the whole thing.
This is NOT the best video in the world no doubt but alas, here it is nonetheless.
Be sure to keep reading after watching the video because I took photos of everything and I sampled everything as well. Every single thing.
Because I have no doubt that I mispronounced everything in my box, here is a list of the goods.
As I mentioned I sampled everything in my box just as I did with my Treats box from Japan. Check out my photos and drool away. This box is amazing and if you love chocolate or know someone who does, get this box for them. They’ll love you forever for it. I’m putting this subscription box service in my Holiday Gift Guide 2015 because I don’t know anyone that wouldn’t like to have treats delivered monthly from around the world. I’m sure you can think of several that would love this that’s on your gift giving list. Eh?
These photos are not in any particular order, I photographed them as I came to them.
