Chalk it up to: Go chalk it #gochalkit

I have quite a few old picture frames that I purchased for a really low price with the intention to turn them into shabby chic frames. My sister was over one day and she suggested that I use a couple for chalkboard signs. What a great idea. I ordered some chalkboard paint from Amazon and received some Go Chalk It to review and I was ready. Don’t you love craft inspiration? I do which is why I practically live on Pinterest.

The Go Chalk It pack included 8 lovely colors that I’ve had the most fun with. I’ve used them on my mirror as well as on the chalkboard signs. They dry so quickly which I was really pleased to discover and can be used for so many more crafts than I’ve used them for. And they will, at least mine will. During the summer months when the kids are out of school, we frequent Michaels to find all sorts of DIY projects and this summer I’ll be looking for projects I can use my chalk markers with.

I misplaced these chalk markers while moving a year ago (gasp) and I just found them again this morning. I won’t let them out of my sight again. That’s what happens when moving turns out to be a group effort lol. I really like the bright colors and the fact that there isn’t any dust like original chalk. The girls make the biggest mess on their clothes with chalky chalk markers.

Yep, they get messy alright.

You can purchase Go Chalk It markers on Amazon so you’ll be ready for those summer crafts you plan to do.

I received the above mentioned product for review purposes only. All opinions are 100% mine.

I love all the newish ways chalk is being able to be used. We have some chalk pens and love them! My BIL and his wife have a whole chalk board wall for their kids. It’s awesome. :)

I have two kids that would absolutely love this. I don’t think I would have a spot left on my driveway or on my patio that would not be colored in with this.
