New Boho Chic Sheets, Style and Colors

Brought to you by Shabby Chic Boho and L&Z Inc.

I swing back and forth between Shabby Chic and Boho Chic and just recently I’ve decided that Shabby Chic Boho is the way to go. Especially when it comes to my bedding and all home decor.

Before we go any further, open your mind up to the fact that flannel sheets are not just for winter.

It’s spring and that’s normally the time when I buy new sheets and change up my colors in my room. Because I bought a couple of new bedding sets when I moved in, I’ve been using them all alternately: when I wash one, I put on a different one until next time. I didn’t really have a sheet set that would match a couple of my bedding sets so I thought it was time to find a shabby chic, boho chic, color and style. I decided on flannel sheets this time because I freeze in the summer. My AC vent is over my bed and it’s colder in my bedroom, in the summer, than it is in the winter. I’m not complaining because it makes for a great nights sleep, but when I get cold, my back aches like crazy.

I have quite a few sheet sets that I need to drop off at Habitat for Humanity because they are like new but they don’t match anything I have. And goodness knows I use too much Simply Shabby Chic pinks so I wanted a completely different color sheet set.

My pinks… I’m a messy sleeper due to back pain and muscle spasms from back injuries: SP failed back surgery.

For my spring colors (I’m all about orange this year), I wanted a light brown Heavyweight 4-Piece Cotton Flannel Sheet Set. I know some of you are thinking these might work better in the fall but I don’t follow any set of rules. If I like it, I like it. And when it comes to my new sheets, I love the color and that’s enough for me.

I have a queen size bed so I ordered queen size. The sheets are made with 100% cotton flannel. Included is one queen size fitted sheet, one queen size flat sheet and two queen size pillow cases.

The bottom sheet fits amazingly well. They weren’t stingy with the size. It covers my entire mattress.

I wish you could feel how soft they are.

The color is perfect. I think I did a great job of picking it out.

The end results are a shabby chic boho look which was what I was aiming for. I generally throw one of my Sarongs across the top for that just messed up look.

As you do your spring cleaning, don’t forget to replace your sheets with fresh new ones. Have you ever used flannel sheets and if so, what is your perception of them?

Love the colors! During the winter time, flannel sheets are the absolute best. I like to turn the heat down at night and that makes them even cozier to snuggle into.

I love the feel of flannel as well because it is so soft. I love the idea of throwing the sarong on your bed.

I love flannel sheets sosososo much! Next to silk (haha) they’re my favorite type! These look so comfy – I’m already so tired, and this post makes me want to just curl up in bed. :)

Those are some really pretty sheets! I really could use some news sheets – I’ve been getting tired of he plain old white ones we have.

I could go for some soft sheets right now! Currently ours are a bit scratchy, but maybe that’s because they’re new.

I naturally love this since I love the bohemian look! I also love the color that you opted for, as orange is seriously an underrated color. :)

The colors really tie the whole room theme together for me, I love it. My whole house has the boho chic look going on so those sheets would be perfect for me!

I love the colors you chose and the sheets look so comfy. I will have to check these out. The throw blanket on top I so love. We here still need flannel sheets with it still snowing outside. Thanks for sharing.

These look great. I need to buy some new bedding. With a toddler, I end up having lots of lipstick and marker marks on my sheets. :(

These sheets look nice. I should go out and get more. We don’t have many that my dog hasn’t chewed on when he was a pup.

I have like 2 sets of sheets I change out all the time. I need to get something new, just haven’t gotten around to it yet.

I try to buy at least 2 sheets sets every year because I use a lot of anti-aging products and can’t stand the thought of my skin sloughing off on my sheets with the peels, lol, so I wash them way too often.

I loved your shabby chic boho look – and I really like flannel sheets, but for some reason my hubby gets scratchy with them and we can’t use them – and I am a messy sleeper – have been all my life :) – uh-oh :)

Oh no, I know how he feels, some materials make me feel all scratchy. Luckily I get along perfectly with flannel.

I’ve never used flannel sheets. I always use a high thread count Egyptian cotton. My sheets have to be really soft and these styles, colors and softness of yours are very interesting. I’ll have to check them out.

That sounds like an amazing sheet set. My sheets are incredibly old and need to be replaced badly.
