We are a crafty family. We spend weekends and school breaks creating DIY projects that I find on blog sites and of course my favorite social media site, Pinterest. With Thanksgiving holiday on the horizon, I’ve been saving quite a few projects for the kids to make. This is one of my favorite times of the year because of all of the holiday breaks. It’s not too hot to go walking and the gnats are finally gone until next year. We go on nature hikes and that’s where we find our goodies for our projects. One such project is a DIY leaf bowl. We’ve been collecting the cutest fall leaves around the neighborhood as well as big acorns for the kids to paint, in another project I want to help them with. The first project that I’d been putting on the side burner but needed to be done first is to make our Thanksgiving invitations. It’s something I’ve been wanting Abby to make since the first of November but I found too many excuses to ever really get it started. Abby has been under the weather (and I broke my toe) so I thought this was the perfect weekend to make them. We’ll get them sent out this week and I’ll have an idea about how many are planning to be here for the big feast I always fix.

After Abby decided she wanted to make her own invitations instead of using Thanksgiving invitation templates I put her on the task of designing it. We used her image to print out all of the invitations and they turned out so adorable, I think everyone’s going to love receiving them in the mail. When she finished her project, I asked for her clothes because I knew without looking that there would be stains on them, I then pre-treated them and threw them in the wash with Liquid Clorox 2®. I don’t worry about any of the kids getting stains on their clothes from crafting because I keep Clorox 2® Stain Remover & Color Booster as well as the stain fighter pens, on hand. Out of all of the kids, Abby is my little mess pot and I’ve learned over the years what works on her stains and what doesn’t.

  1. I use Clorox 2 all of the time for my son’s uniform pants. They are a khaki color and show every stain. It is the only product that actually gets the stains out

  2. I have been using Clorox for years! Once I spilled red KoolAid on a white blouse and Clorox bleach was the only thing that cleaned it!

  3. The Clorox products I have used for years or at least the bleach. Clorox 2 I have yet to try but love how it can be used on colors. It would really help with stains the kid end up making on everything. Thanks for sharing this awesome product and the giveaway.

  4. Have anything you’d like to share in a comment about Clorox 2? Did it help save your favorite shirt, etc.?!
