Glow in the dark train, not just for kids

I’ve been having just as much fun with this train set as the kids. In fact, if the truth be told, when the kids are at school, I’ve been practicing to race against them, lol. If you’re looking for a gift the entire family can play with, this is it. The Max Flex RC 300 Combo Edition is not gender specific, the girls enjoy it equally as much as Tyler does. It creates imaginative play and there are so many ways the kids can set up the track, it’s like having a new toy every day.

The entire set appears to be really well made and I like that the kids can switch up the colors, make bridges and loops and really just use their imagination to get crazy with this set. In my younger days, my dad was a race car driver so we always spent weekends at the track. This train set brings back so many wonderful memories as well as of the train set we always had circling our Christmas tree. There isn’t a race track around here that I can take my kids to but this is the next best thing to being there. When they’re playing, I pop up some popcorn, make some hot cocoa and they have a ball.

There are two major colors, a strong blue and orange, and the track is made of a really durable plastic that’s going to last for years to come. It provides a combo of off-road and on-road racing. There are two controllers and 2 cars so 2 people can play this to race against each other at the same time. We generally have to do a coin toss to see who gets to race against who and who gets to race against the winner. Anything to keep peace, eh?

Each interlocking piece can be removed and added to a different piece making this fun to design especially at night when it glows in the dark. The kids set it up, turn off all of the lights and laugh and get excited like I haven’t seen them do with other toys in a long time. This racetrack set is worth the low price and I highly recommend it for any child old enough to use the remote controls. If I can do it, most people can. It even got the National Parenting Center seal of approval.
