We might feel happy one day, sad the next, indifferent the next – we’re human and we have different emotions. However, the problem is people often put their happiness on outside sources, which is why people tend to feel less than happy most of the time. Start The Day Off Right

The way we start the day can affect how we feel for the rest of the day. If you roll out of bed feeling groggy after snoozing your alarm an untold amount and then have to rush around getting ready, you’re not going to feel great. The rest of the day will often go the same way too. Start the day off with a routine that you enjoy so that you actually want to get up in the morning. Make yourself a hot drink, read a bit of a good book, and take your time.

Prioritizing your sleeping pattern will help you to feel ready for whatever the day throws at you. To improve your sleep substantially, make sure you have a great mattress. Choose How You’re Going To Feel

We get to choose how we’re going to feel. Get up each day and remind yourself how amazing it is that you’re even here and able to live another day. Feel happy, and feel grateful. When you find things to be grateful for before you even start the day, you’ll get into great habits. It’s like a domino effect too, as you usually find even more to be grateful for.

Repeat Affirmations

Affirmations help things stick in our heads. What most people don’t realize is that we use affirmations all the time, except most of them are detrimental to the way we feel. They’re the stories that we believe to be true about ourselves that hold us back. Things like ‘I’m no good at…’ or ‘I can’t do…’ – these are affirmations. The more you repeat them, the more you believe them. Change your affirmations, repeat them, and change your stories.

Visualize The Day

If you know how you want the day to go, spend a few days visualizing it. Many successful people use this! technique!

Eat Nutritious Foods

The food you eat is going to affect how you feel, and whether you have that ‘afternoon slump’ people who eat junk food tend to have. Eat foods that support your health!

Remember, you can’t let things outside of your control make you unhappy. Choose how you’re going to feel!
