Lets Get “FITsicle” Yoga Towel

Shabby Chic Boho

I have been practicing yoga meditation and exercises for a couple of years now to help with my chronic pain. It was suggested to me after my failed back surgery and at the time, I ignored everyone’s suggestions. It wasn’t until I was fully convinced that my back would never heal {I held on to my hope until the end despite 17 specialists trying to tell me that my back injuries were what they were}, that I realized I need something to do to help get my pain level down. When it’s high, I’m stressed to the max. Getting my stress level down has been helping to get my pain level down, even though my stress is from my pain, if that makes any sense{?}. From the very beginning, I never really thought yoga would help me. I was wrong and when I’m wrong, I say I’m wrong.

Don’t get me wrong, yoga is not a cure all.

I’ve been doing some stretching exercises for lower back, and sacroiliac joint pain that I found on YouTube. I subscribed to PsycheTruth because her videos are easy to follow along with and the exercises tend to help my lower back pain (as long as I don’t push my limits) as well as sacroiliac joint pain. Check out one of her videos below then head on over to YouTube so you can subscribe to her as well. Be sure to come right back.

I’ve started working on a few items of necessity for yoga which are… Essential oils, candles and wax tarts for stress relief. I’m always amazed at how well scents help ease my pain. Certain ones, I should say. I also bought some 1 pound hand weights that I use when I go walking. I really need to tone up my arms. I’m envious of well toned arms. I also bought a nice yoga bag from Amazon to take with me when I travel and want my yoga accessories with me. I normally do my yoga at home because it’s just more convenient for me, but if I’m not home, well, it must go with me. I’ve even purchased a couple of different yoga towels, and I recently received a new towel for review purposes which is called the Pro Yoga Towel. I did an unveiling video of it to share with you, below. I selected the blue and I think it’s cheery as well as useful.

The towels come in some other really fun and eye catching colors as you can see with the below photo. I’m all for anything to make yoga fun. I wanted to try this particular brand after reading the product description for it.

Yoga Towel

Pretty impressive, eh? I think so.

I’m sorry to hear about your back pain. I get brief bouts of back pain and it’s no fun, so I can’t imagine having a constant pain. I’m glad that yoga can provide relief for back issues. I like that these towels are eco-friendly.

Thanks for sharing. I used to do yoga. I probably should start again. I need to start working out again, and this would be a great work out, and good stress relief.

This looks great! I really want to get into yoga. I’ve always wanted to but haven’t for some reason. I’ve heard such great things and hear it helps one relax and deal with stress. Must try!

Yoga is one thing I do to keep my bones from hurting. Getting old is no fun so if exercise can keep me moving… I am going to do it.
