Last year I made each of my children photo blankets, the year before that I made each adult coffee mug. The year before that I made several canvas wall art photos as gifts. And, the year before that I made photo journals for all of my siblings. The year before that I gifted everyone personalized Christmas cards for each family to send out. This year while I was making gifts for others on my Christmas gift-giving list, I decided to treat myself to some personalized gifts of my brand logo. It’s something I’ve been wanting to do for the past few years and I finally decided now would be a good time to just do it.
I have a camping trip coming up and I knew I’d need a big fuzzy blanket due to the weather here now. I can picture myself wrapped up at home by my fire pit, at a campground surrounded by woods, or even in my bed watching Netflix while being wrapped up in my new personalized plush photo blanket.
Their blankets are one of my favorite things to buy and after seeing how much everyone I gift one to is always so happy with theirs, I wanted one for myself. I’m thrilled with how it turned out. Not only is it soft and plush, but the ink colors are so much more vivid than I thought they’d be. My throw blanket is absolutely perfect.
And what better way to drink coffee by the campfire than with a coffee mug designed by myself? I also created it with my brand logo and I love the nice size of the coffee mug. I’m a coffee fanatic. No matter where I am, I have coffee in my hand. I have a couple of them already from Mpix with the kids’ photos on them. but this time my new mug is to promote myself.
The experience I’ve had with past mugs is that the images stay as perfect as they were the day they arrived. I’ve washed all of mine to death and you’d not be able to tell it by looking at them. This is the first white mug I’ve ordered and I’m really impressed with the colors of my logo.
Lastly, I made some coffee canisters to keep on my coffee table at home as well as to take along in my tent to keep from getting coffee stains on my camping nightstand. I spend a lot of time working on my lifestyle blogs and I’ve always got a hot cup of coffee nearby. The canisters are going to save a lot of furniture polishing which I have to do at the end of each workday.
As I am with the above products, I’m super impressed with the canisters as well. They came with a wood holder and are nice and thick so I don’t have to worry about the heat from my beverages getting down to my coffee table or nightstand. Again, the logo is nice and vivid and I couldn’t be happier.
It always surprises me just how quickly I can design my favorite items at Mpix. The hardest part of any of it is just uploading the photos and trust me, that’s not hard at all. You can upload from your computer or social media such as Facebook. When I’m buying a gift for someone, I head to their social media sites to select their recent photo shares. I download them and upload them to Mpix. When I select anything from myself, I can directly upload them to the photo site.
