As Christmas draws near, I’ve been on a hunt for stocking stuffers for the kids. And not just any stocking stuffers, I’m keeping healthy in mind as I shop. I love sharing my finds with you to give you an idea of what to stuff your own kids’ Christmas stockings with.
As I normally do for all holidays, I head to the Welch’s isle at Target to see what they have to offer. I was really excited to find some Limited Edition Welch’s Fruit and Yogurt Snowballs this year. The kids love the fruity taste of Welch’s so I know the snowballs are going to be a hit. The fact that they’re strawberry flavored is a plus. The snowballs have a soft and delicious Real Fruit Strawberry center, surrounded by creamy Yogurt. Strawberry flavor is a big hit around here.
When we go shopping anywhere, instead of grabbing a candy bar in the checkout aisle, they all prefer a bag of Welch’s fruit snacks.
I grew up on a sheep farm in Pennsylvania and we had acres of strawberries that we sold to all of the local grocery stores and at the Farmer’s Market. It was my favorite place to be on the farm. I would ride my horse to the field daily when strawberries were in bloom to load up. I can’t think of anything better than the times spent as a child, picking and eating the strawberries straight from the field.
The snowballs have that same fresh strawberry flavor that I remember as a child. While my kids don’t know what it’s like to be able to go out and pick strawberries fresh from a field, they can still have the fresh-picked taste of strawberries in the Welch’s Fruit and Yogurt Snowballs.
When you get ready to set out your stockings this year for a Christmas, don’t forget to snag your own Welch’s Fruit and Yogurt strawberry snowballs.
Also, I wanted to share 12 days of giveaways sweepstakes on Welch’s website that I found.
