It’s a cold and rainy Monday here in Georgia and although I have the aches and pains associated with the weather, my home smells absolutely amazing. The reason for it is I’m currently burning an eco-friendly candle from Ojas & Woo.
For those of you who don’t know or need a refresher, I had failed back surgery which has left me with chronic pain, 24/7. I use holistic pain methods whenever possible and that includes scent therapy. Because I burn candles daily, I’m very conscious about the candles I burn.
I found Ojas & Woo while looking for eco-friendly candles and I was excited to try one of them to test it to see if it was worthy to add to my Gift Guide, and it’s more than worthy. In fact, they should be on Oprah’s list if they aren’t already.
When I buy candles, I buy the scents based on the seasons or holidays so I selected a large 12-ounce candle called First Snow. This might be my first candle but it won’t be my last. I’m already thinking of all the uses I’ll get out of the reusable bag my candle came in. As soon as I opened the box I could smell the delicious scents of pine greenery mixed with some earthy and woodsy scents as well. It is exactly as I hoped it would smell and more.
This candle is made with Coco Apricot Wax from renewable resources, and eco-cotton wicks for the cleanest burn. Uniquely, when I blow my candle out, I don’t get a whiff of fire like with most candles, instead, I get the full scent of the fragrant candle. I buy candles weekly, sometimes daily, and I’ve never experienced this before. It’s delightful.
